This tournament is twenty years old, It first started in the year 2000 and was known as the Wellington sevens before the tournament was moved to Hamilton hence the name change.This weekend The HSBC World Series Shifts to New Zealand, This is the third leg for the 2020 season. Teams come from a two leg break which started in Dubai and was followed by Cape town sevens in South Africa. The host nation New Zealand popularly known as the All Blacks and The South Africans referred to the Blitz Bok are tied on points after the first two legs. New Zealand are placed with Wales, Scotland and the USA, Pool B has South Africa, Kenya,England and Japan, Pool C France, Ireland,Canada and Spain and finally Pool D Fiji,Argentina,Australia and Samoa. Who will emerge as the main cup winners for this third leg? Will the host Nations take advantage of the home support or will the previous winners Fiji pull a surprise.
